The Abakpa bridge is currently a disaster awaiting to happen just as efforts are being made to get the attention of the Enugu state government.
The bridge has become a nightmare to road users as erosion gradually creeps in.
With the rains and heavier traffic occassioned by the closure of the T-Junction the fear of unwanted disaster has continued to grow.

If not a averted the entire Abakpa will be cut off from the rest of Enugu and traffic would further be worsened.
