Top Enugu Governoship aspirant Capt. Evarest Nnaji popularly known as Ondengene has stepped down from the race.
In a letter to the State PDP Chairman dated May 25th 2022 Odengene said his decision is in good faith.
Entitled, ‘decision to step down,’ the letter signed by the aspirant himself read: I write to formerly notify you of my decision to bring to an end my interest in the Governorship ticket of our party and to withdraw from participating in the primary election scheduled to hold today 25, May 2022.
He congratulated whoever emerges the party Candidate.
“This decision is in good faith. I therefore congratulate whoever emerges our Governoship Candidate while assuring you of my continued loyalty and support to the party.
