Operatives of the Enugu Command of the EFCC have arrested an outdoor advertisement executive over political advertisements that appeared in two billboards in Enugu bearing the name and logo of the Commission.
The two Super 48 Sheet Billboards located at Otigba and Zik Avenue Junctions in Enugu, bore offensive messages using the name of the EFCC to threaten the aspiration of some politicians in the state in the build up to the 2023 general elections.
EverydayNewsngr.net reports that the billboards have already been dismantled by the EFCC.
The billboards may not be unconnected to a recent campaign of calumny allegdly sponsored by a guber aspirant to discredit some of his rivals especially the top contenders.
The campaign has received wide condemnations as most of those targeted are merely being witchunted by detractors.
