Anambra lawmaker and serving member of the state House of Assembly Dr Okechukwu Okoye has been kidnapped.
Popularly known as Okey Di Okay the legislator was kidnapped Sunday evening at about 6:pm.
The abduction of the Lawmaker is coming on the heels of the killing of a Policeman shot dead Sunday evening by unknown gunmen.
Hon Okoye represents Aguata North, same Constituency as the governor of the state, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo.
Details of his kidnap was still sketchy as at the time of this report but reports say the lawmaker was whisked away from a black Sienna car within his Constituency.
