
The Insecurity and killings in Anambra State just like in most States of the South East has continued unabated despite efforts by the new Governor Chukwuma Soludo to find a solution.
His search for a solution took him to visit the leader Indegenous People of Biafra, IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in detention.
While the news of his visit ws still making the rounds unknown gunmen on Sunday shot dead a policeman at Eke Oko, Aguata local government area of Anambra State.
Eye witness account said the victim who was riding on his motorcycle was blocked along the road by his assailants who shot and killed him on the spot.
The incident occured on Sunday, 15th May around 6:10pm.
As at the time of this report, his corpse is still lying on the road.
Road users reportedly scampered for safety following the incident.
Aguata, which is the local government area of the Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has come under serious attack by unknown gunmen after the Governor declared war on them.
