Former Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly RT Hon Cletus Enebe is dead.
Enebe who hails from Awgu Locai Government Area of Enugu State was the first Speaker elected by the Enugu Assembly when Democratic regime returned in1999.
He was later impeached in a series that saw the Enugu Assembly produce about four Speakers in four years during the Governor Chimaroke Nnamani’s Administration.
Details of his death were sketchy as the time of this report but sources say he has been sick for sometime.
He was also said to have traveled to India recently for kidney transplant.
A House of Assembly membiconfirmed the death.
