A radio announcer was affected when a private radio station in Enugu, Family Love FM was struck by lightning.
The incident reportedly happened during an evening rain on Saturday.
The affected announcer was said to be on the air when the lightning struck. She was injured and rushed to the hospital.
The radio station which transmits on 99.9 Frequency Modulation (FM) is located on top of the Ngwo hills, Enugu North Local government area.
Experts have identified the location of both the transmitter and the station in the same building as possible cause of the lightning.
As at the time of this report the extent of damaged had not been ascertained.
