THE TRUE MEANING OF REPRESENTATIVE ASSEMBLY
When the colonists muted the idea and formed the indefatigable House of Burgesses, little did the founders envisaged that the foundation loosely constituted in 1619 would later become the modern democratic institution of the world. The idea that got this pillar erected had its share values from the dreams of John Winthrop who as governor of Massachusetts stated that, “For we must consider that we shall be a city upon a hill.”
Now what is the dream of those who have represented Enugu East Senatorial Zone for the past sixteen years in the Senate.What value have they added to national discourse and of what impact is their sixteen years uninterrupted experiment to the good people of Enugu East Senatorial Zone. Absolutely nothing!
We can’t continue to adopt and apply the same failed method over and over and expect to get a new result. To be modest our experiment for this past sixteen years has woefully backfired and we must recalibrate to acquire a new momentous energy for greater thrust and sustained inertia in service delivery.
Ndi Enugu East Senatorial Zone Chief Dr Mrs Deaconess IFEOMA NWOBODO is a panacea to all these illusive and dashed hopes.
With Dr Mrs Nwobodo, we shall win together and clean up the system and the true meaning of Representative Assembly will be reflective and radiates beyond our inf and sup.
ENUGU EAST SENATORIAL ZONE, here is a woman of substance with impeccable record of public service achievements.
The fact is that she will get the job done in record time!
