The Indegenous Biafra Warriors has declared lack of trust in the commitmemt4 of some Governor’s of the South East towards securing the release of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

The group also called for more delegation to Aso Rock to demand the release of Kanu.

Reacting to the recent visit of some Igbo leaders to President Buhari, leader of the group, Bro Ndubuisi Igwekani aka Agu Biafra expressed confidence with the quality of the delegation but insisted that efforts must continue until Nnamdi Kanu is released.

He urged the Council of Archbishops and traditional rulers to follow up the visit and demand the unc free rrronditional release of Nnamdi Kanu.

“We know that some of the South East Governors are sincere but at the same time we are doubting some of them.

“We cannot count on some Igbo politicians but we know there are some who are committed and sincere in the efforts to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“So we want those involved to quicken their efforts and ensure that nothing happens to him.

“Because if you look at what is happening in the country today, lots of things happening in the north and other places, why is Nnamdi still being detained if not injustice.

“What offence did he commit? Because he is demanding for the right of his people. And some people allege that all crimes committed in the East are either committed by IPOB, ESN, or Nnamdi Kanu. These are all lies.

“We want them to quicken their efforts and to make sure that Nnamdi is released unconditionally.

“We saw the people that went to see Buhari, Chief Mbazuluike Amechi is a true Igbo leader who always has the interest of the Igbo’s at heart.

“We are satisfied with the calibre of people in the delegation; Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, has shown interest, he has been in court whenever Nnamdi Kanu appeared.

“We recorgnize others but what we are saying is that there is need for more efforts . We are saying that whatever condition the federal government is giving, we want Nnamdi Kanu to be released unconditionally.

“And we also use this opportunity to call on the Council of Archbishops in the South East and traditional rulers to quicken their steps and make sure they have audience with the federal government before the end of this month and to demand for the unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“We recorgnize the efforts and contributions of the Archbishops and the traditional rulers but we are saying that we want Nnamdi to be released unconditionally.
Let nothing happen to him. If anything happens to him we will hold the government responsible.”
