…Commends President Tinubu For Appointing Nwakuche

The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Rt.Hon Chinedu Ogah has called on the Newly appointed Controller General of the Nigeria Correctional services to prioritize the welfare of inmates and maintain a high standard of professionalism across all aspects of service.
Rt.Hon Ogah also commended President Bola Tinubu for the appointment of Nwakuche Sylvester Ndidi as the new Controller-General of the Service.
The lawmaker who represents Ikwo/Ezza South Federal constituency maintained that President Tinubu since his assumption of office has continued to be steadfast in ensuring that all his appointments conform with federal character principles.
In a statement, Rt. Hon Ogah also commended the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his dedication, commitment, and outstanding work in the ministry.
“I commend the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his dedication, commitment, and outstanding work in the ministry. My gratitude also goes to the outgoing Controller-General for his cooperation with correctional officers and efforts to improve the welfare of inmates”.
“I therefore encourage the newly appointed Controller-General to foster strong relationships between staff and inmates”.
“I Ogah urge the new CG to draw upon his expertise and knowledge to ensure best practices are upheld within the Nigerian Correctional Service”.
