The Former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Engr. Ebere Udeagu passed on.
He was aged 79 years.
Udeagu, had served as deputy governor to former Governor of the State, Achike Udenwa from 1999 to 2007.
A trained water engineer, he hails from Ihube in Okigwe local government area of Imo State.
Udeagu, according to reports, died in Owerri, in the early hours of Monday.
Ikedi Ohakim, a former governor of Imo State, in his condolence message, described Udeagu’s death as saddening.
