There was pandemonium at the Akanu Ibiam International airport, Enugu when two yet to be identified passengers, Friday threatened to bomb an Abuja bound aircraft.
EverydayNews gatherered that the two male passengers who were in the company of a lady were refused boarding when they failed to produce their boarding pass.
In the resulting shouting match with the airline officials the passengers reportedly threatened to bomb the plane.
This caused panic at the airport sa passengers were hurriedly asked to disembark for a thorough scan of the plane.
The three passengers our source confirmed were consequently arrested by the security agents at the airport until the plane touched down safely in Abuja.
