Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has directed the Commissioner of Police in the state and the Brigade Commander, 14 Brigade, Ohafia to seal up a church in Aba, the commercial nerve centre of the state over the crisis that has plagued the church over the years.
The statement also said the governor has equally directed the banning of all religious and any other activity whatsoever in and around the premises of the Apostolic Christian Church Mission Aba, till further notice.
“Any attempt by any person or group of persons to flout or undermine this directive will be met with severe consequences,” it added.
The governor according to the statement, directed security agencies in the state to ensure full compliance with this directive. (The Sun)
