Good morning your Excellency and congratulations for your victory at the Supreme Court.
Today’s edition is dedicated to the Supreme Court victory as we try to accommodate some of the messages sent in by Enugu people.
Among those who have sent Goodwill messages to felicitate with His Excellency on the victory include popular Enugu politician and businessman Onyeze Ben Alukwu who described the Supreme Court verdict as a victory for Enugu people. He says, “Enugu people should now sit-back and see the package the governor has brought to lift Enugu to greater heights.
Also, a former chairman of Ezeagu Local Government Area, Chief Chukwudi Ezinwa says the judgement is the best that could happen to Enugu at a time like this. He expressed happiness that the Governor has already hit the ground running. “Let the good times roll,” he said.
Chairman Igboeze South Local Government Area Hon Vitus Okechi while praising the Court’s decision said he is not surprised that the Governor is working. He encourages His Excellency to carry on.
Engr. (Prince) Lawrence Ezeh, Hon Commissioner for Innovation, Science & Technology described the victory as a ‘meritorious winning for Ndi Enugu, South Eastern States, and proof that democracy today is tilting towards meritocracy and not propaganda’.
Hon Uche Nwobodo, former chairman Nkanu East, a man of few words says the victory was expected and urged the Governor to continue with the good work he is doing.
Pastor Sam Iyiogwe, former chairman Nkanu East says it’s a victory Enugu people especially the people of Nkanu East who have long been deprived of basic infrastructure. He prays for good health, God’s guidance, protection and direction of His Excellency Governor Peter Mbah.
Enugu NBA Chairman, Barr. CNN Nwagbara hailed the Supreme Court judgement insisting that the verdict was expected. He argued that judgements are based purely on the provisions of the law rather than sentiments. He said; “for me Enugu people have made the right choice. Congratulations Mr. Governor.
