GOOD MORNING MR GOVERNOR.

Greetings your Excellency, and good morning this Monday morning.
Thanks for giving us a listening ear. It’s not a common attribute and we don’t take it for granted.
Today sir, we bring to you a distress letter addressed to a Local Government Chairman, which also seek to alert you on the development.
We hereby publish the letter as received.

Subject: Urgent Appeal for the Immediate Payment of 13 Months Salary Owed to Hon. Israel Anil (Ngige Aninri)

An Open Letter to Hon. Benneth Ajah, The Executive Chairman of Aninri LGA.

I hope this letter finds you well, although I must admit that the purpose of my writing is far from pleasant. As a concerned citizen and advocate for peace, I am compelled to bring to your attention a matter of great urgency and dire importance.

It has come to our attention that Hon. Israel Ani , a diligent and hardworking Aninri West Development Centre Administrator, has been persistently denied his rightful payment for the past 13 months. This shocking revelation has not only left Hon. Isreal in a state of despair, but it also raises serious concerns about the welfare and fairness within our local government system.

It is hard to fathom the anguish and distress Hon. Isreal Ani must be enduring, struggling to meet his basic needs and support his family while diligently fulfilling his duties to Ndi Aninri West & the local government. The pain and frustration he must feel, witnessing his colleagues receive their due wages while being unjustly deprived of his own, is simply unacceptable.

Sir, I implore you, as the esteemed Local Government Chairman, to take immediate action and rectify this gross injustice. It is your responsibility to ensure that the hard work and dedication of our employees are met with due compensation. Hon. Israel and others like him deserve nothing less than timely payment for their services rendered.

In light of the urgency and gravity of this matter, I call on His Excellency, the Executive Governor of our state, Barr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah to intervene in this sad issue. Your intervention, dear Governor, will not only rectify the immediate plight of Hon. Isreal Ani but also send a strong message that the rights and well-being of our employees will be protected and valued by your government.

I trust in your commitment to justice and fairness, and I sincerely hope that you will swiftly address this matter with the urgency it deserves. The payment of the 13 months’ salary owed to Hon. Israel is not just a matter of financial compensation, but a matter of restoring dignity, trust, and hope in our local government system.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I eagerly await your prompt action.

Yours sincerely,

Comr Collins Ude
Enugu, Nigeria
