Gunmen have kidnapped the wife of the Chairman of Magama Local Government Area in Niger State, Usman Baffa Ibeto.
Baffa is a top member of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the state.
Mrs Baffa was reportedly abducted from her home in the Tunga area of Minna, the state capital on Sunday, June 12.
As at press time, it was reported that the abductors are yet to make contact with the family of the victim to demand for ransom.
This is coming few weeks after Gunmen abducted the wife of the APC leader in Oyo State, Adenike Oni-Salawu.
The wife of the Oyo APC leader was abducted by the gunmen in front of her house at the Old Ife road area of Ibadan, when she alighted from her car to open the gate of the house to drive in.
