Unknown gunmen Saturday attacked Unadu community in Igbo-Eze South LGA killing a former Councillor and present APC Youth Leader of the ward, Hon. Lucky Idoko.
The incident reportedly happened at about 12 noon on Saturday, 8th October 2023.
An eye witness said the same group of hoodlums also burnt down Enyi Petroleum Ltd, located along Unadu- Akpany road belonging to the Traditional Ruler of Unadu Kingdom, HRH Igwe B.B Okechukwu JP.
An undisclosed source stated that “the same group of unknown gunmen who killed Hon. Lucky Idoko, also attacked people in Alor-Agu community, a neighbouring community to Unadu.
The gunmen were said to have also attacked strangers who came to appease Adoro, a dreaded deity in Alor-Agu community.
They were said to have met the unknown gunmen who shot at one of them, on their way back from the shrine.
The identity of the second victim who alsokst his life is yet to be identified.
The victim died after losing so much blood.
