BREAKING: Bomb Blast rocks Market, scores injured
A devastating explosion, suspected to have been caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), rocked the bustling Buni Yadi livestock market in the Gujba local government area of Yobe State on Friday.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 PM, according to a resident of Buni, Ali Hassan, who stated, “It happened around 1:30 this afternoon, injuring a girl and many other traders.”
Authorities have yet to confirm the full extent of the damage or the number of casualties, but eyewitnesses reported significant injuries among market-goers and traders.
The explosion has caused widespread panic and chaos, disrupting the daily activities of the popular livestock market.
