The Enugu State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA) has officially announced the upcoming development of a 3,000 square meter premium indoor air-conditioned exhibition pavilion, which is set to debut at the 37th Enugu International Trade Fair, scheduled for March 20th-30th, 2026.
This announcement was made by ECCIMA President, Sir Odeiga Jideonwo, during the closing ceremony of the 36th Enugu International Trade Fair.
Jideonwo expressed gratitude to the exhibitors for their participation and reassured them that the organization has taken their feedback into account for future improvements.
“Distinguished Ladies and gentlemen, it is a deep sense of joy that I welcome you to the closing ceremony of the 36th Enugu International Trade Fair. Against all odds and challenges, we have indeed successfully hosted this fair. This achievement is thanks to your support and confidence in us,” he stated.
Despite concerns regarding the national economy leading up to the fair, Jideonwo noted that participants managed to overcome obstacles together, resulting in a successful event that marks a significant improvement over the previous year.
He also addressed a recent issue concerning an electrical incident that affected the air conditioning in the Gold Pavilion during the fair, promising that measures will be implemented to prevent such occurrences in the future.
“The new indoor pavilion, which is expected to be completed by August 2025, aims to enhance the exhibition experience for exhibitors and attendees at the forthcoming trade fair. Jideonwo extended an invitation to all participants to be among the first users of the new facility in 2026, highlighting the benefits of early registration, which includes a 10% discount until November 30, 2025,”he said.
In closing, he thanked key sponsors such as Dangote Industries Ltd and Nigeria Brewery Plc, as well as media partners and collaborators, for their unwavering support.
He encouraged all exhibitors to register early for the 37th Enugu International Trade Fair, assuring that ECCIMA is committed to addressing any feedback to enhance future events.
“Things can only get better, and that is why I confidently invite you to the 37th Enugu International Trade Fair which has been scheduled to hold from 20th to 30th of March, 2026,” he concluded.
