The Department of Microbiology (MCB) has won the University of Nigeria’s Faculty of biological sciences soccer competition.
MCB defeated hard fighting Plant Science and Biotechnology (PSB) Department by 1-0.
The game was played Sunday at the
University of Nigeria Nsukka Stadium.
The goal which was scored in the first half of the encounter by Nnamdi Joshua a.k.a Fine B was enough for the MCB boys to cruise to victory.
Zoology and Environmental Biology (ZEB) defeated Combined Biological Sciences (CBS) 2-0 to clinch the third place position.
