Enugu’s humble Lion, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi administration’s rural development model in Enugu State cannot be forgotten in a hurry.

The 22.443km Neke-Mbu-Ogbodu Aba-Obollo Etiti inter-community road linking Isi-Uzo and Udenu LGAs stands out in the crowd.

A RAMP-2 project clinically delivered about two years ago, across thick forests, to give the rural dwellers a sense of belonging, and to address the hitherto hydra-headed imbalance in the distribution of infrastructural developments between the urban and rural areas of the state.

Governor Ugwuanyi will no doubt be remembered for his imprints in the rural areas and history will be kind to him for his bold initiatives in remembering the long neglected people in the hinterlands, against all odds.
