Enugu State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Barr. Ugochukwu Agballa has described the new APC in the state as a willing tool to put an end to what he termed the dorminance of the ‘cabal’ in Enugu politics.
Speaking on Sunday during the presentation of the party’s Deputy Governor candidate for the 2023 election, Agballa noted that APC has the best candidate for the guber election, and has what it takes to take-back Enugu from the hands of the cabal.
Agballa who did not mention names, urged major stakeholders, religious and politcial leaders, the downtrodden, the deprived and all concerned to rally round the APC to effect the needed change in 2023.
“We must converge here, all stakeholders who wish to recover Enugu. Don’t mind their Yahoo promises. Only Uchenna Nnaji, thank God he accepted to run, only him can end the cabal that has held Enugu hostage. I call on Enugu to rise against this cabal.”
Agballa hailed the wise decision of the guber candidate to pick a vibrant lawyer and politician as his running mate, describing the duo as the best candidates in the Enugu guber race.
The Enugu APC guber running mate Barr. George Ogara was unveiled in Enugu on Sunday at a ceremony attended by party leaders and all APC candidates for the 2023 general elections.
