Wilangy picks APGA Reps ticket, urges Enugu to get PVC, join move for change
Enugu socialite, businessman and politician Chief Wilfred Okeke, popularly known as Wilangy, has picked the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, House of Reps ticket for Udi/Ezeagu Federal Constituency.
The popular politician who will be coming up against the Enugu Chief of Staff Dr. Festus Uzor, of the PDP is full of confidence and optimistic that he and his party would turn the table against the PDP in 2023.
He expressed the belief that the current mass movement by the youths will mark the end of APC and PDP in the South East.
Siad he; “The people have risen to take their destinies in their own hand. They are currently getting their PVC’s; it won’t be business as usual and I tell you, that APGA has come to takeover in the politics of the zone.”
The Chairman/CEO Wilangy Groups noted that his victory will be a fresh beginning for his constituents whom he said have long been deprived.
“I am coming to reawaken the belief, the trust the masses ought to have in a government. I have come to touch the lives of my people by providing basic amenities, and to provide effective and efficient representation that will change the lives of the masses.
“We shall attract federal projects for the good people of Udi and Ezeagu and ensure that their voices are heard. It will be an end to deprivation. It will mark an end to starvation; it’s going to be a government for the people.
“It is time for my people to sing a new song. All they have to do is to go get their Permanent Voters Card, PVC, and together we shall step forward, into the new system where politcial office holders would be held accountable to the people.
“The people are tired of APC, they are tired of the PDP, they are set to introduce a new order which we represent.”
