Top Enugu guber aspirant Capt. Evarest Nnaji popularly known as Odengene received a thunderous welcome at the South East PDP office on Thursday.
The Nkanu East born businessman and politician who arrived for the screening of all the guber aspirants in the zone was welcomed at the gate by PDP Youths who sang his praises..
The loud welcome continued beyond the gates which was restricted to aspirants and some key party stakeholders.
Odengene after brief exchange of pleasantries went in for the screen proper which did not waste time.
At the end of his screening the aspirant well known for his philanthropy spent few minutes greeting different groups including the press.
In a brief chat with Journalists the guber hopeful expressed satisfaction with the screening and commended the party for a well organized exercise.
Over 39 Governoship aspirants from Enugu, Ebonyi and Abia States were screened with Enugu presenting the highest number of aspirants of about 19 aspirants.
