For daring the godfather by joining the Presidential race, Vice President Osibanjo may have declared war against his leader, Bola Tinubu.
The Jagaban is strongly contesting the position and close sources say he didn’t expect the VP to join, ‘at least not now.’
The plan was for them to work together and weigh their options before taking a final decision.
The calculations was that Osibanjo would be his plan B should he be rejected by the Party.
After Osinbajo’s Declaration, Tinubu summoned a closed-door meeting With APC Governors.
The meeting between the APC Presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the governors is on-going as at the time of this report.
