A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Hassan Alwan, has alleged that several governors and ministers within the ruling party do not genuinely support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily, Alwan said that while many top officials publicly express loyalty, their actions suggest otherwise. He claimed that some governors and cabinet members are more focused on advancing personal political ambitions ahead of future elections than on strengthening the president’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.
Alwan warned that such internal disloyalty could undermine party unity and negatively impact APC’s prospects in upcoming elections if not addressed. He urged party stakeholders to set aside personal interests and work collectively in support of President Tinubu and the party’s goals.
