The Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State on Student Matters, Mr Ilogebe Chidi, has presented checks worth N250,000 to five young entrepreneurs in Enugu.
Speaking while presenting the checks to the beneficiaries at the weekend, Mr Ilogebe said the gesture was in line with Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s drive towards youth development and empowerment.
He encouraged the beneficiaries to properly utilize the grant to make impact in the society and in the lives of others.
“On Friday, the 30th of April 2021, my team and I had the opportunity to interact with the winners of the February edition of our #50,000 monthly grant to young entrepreneurs in the state.
“I was inspired by their ideas especially that of Cynthia who wants to build a career in auto-mechanics as a mechanic.
“We encouraged them to strive to make an impact not just in their lives but in the lives of others and by extension the society.
“We let them understand that Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi can’t be everywhere that is why we as his representatives are doing the little we can do to complement the much the Governor is doing in the area of youth development.
The beneficiaries include: Nwede Chiamaka Stella-maris (Aninri), Chukwuneke Cynthia Chiemerie (Ezeagu), Odo Justus Uzoma (Igboeze South), Okoro Ezekiel – (Uzo Uwani), Edeh Humphrey Tochukwu, (Nkanu East)
