A telecommunication firm, S.Mobile Netzone Limited, has commenced an empowerment initiative for youths in the Southeast region of the country.
The firm, which is a trade partner of MTN Nigeria, with a certificate to distribute and import telecom devices and accessories, said it is seeking to empower members of the public with loans and grants to do business.
Addressing a press conference in Enugu Tuesday, the Managing Director of S.Mobile Netzone Limited, Mr. Kingsley Ifeanyi Adonu, said the empowerment would be part of the company’s corporate-socio responsibility or giving back to the society.
Adonu, represented by one of the managers of the company, Celestine Eze, disclosed that the company was targeting to empower no fewer than 50 youths per week in Southeast through its mentorship and funding programme.
He said, S.Mobile had developed a strategy of creating long term value for customers by constantly developing innovative products, while being empowered with her core values of integrity, firmness, accountability and transparency.
“S.Mobile has been able to identify economic prospects in the telecoms businesses in Nigeria and as a sector to create enduring wealth and is willing to share with discerning persons in order to build a formidable capacity to maximize the inherent opportunities to reach and satisfy a massive customer base as well as create substantial wealth for all, hence our company tag line which says connecting you to value.
“With a well structured management system and staff strength of over 200 in different stations, S.Mobile is seeking to empower members of the public with loans and grants to do business.
“We are therefore inviting youths, unemployed and even employed individuals seeking for new opportunities to download the S.Mobile app from google play store, register on our platform, get mentored on how to trade and get their wallets funded immediately by loans and grants”.
