A police Inspector identified as Lawal Ibrahim has reportedly died after having with his mistress at a hotel in Abuja.
The manager of Palasa Hotels Gwagwalada, simply identified as one Danlami had reported the matter at the Gwagwalada police station.
According to the manager, the Late Inspector, attached to the Kwali Police Division came to the hotel the previous night, at about 8:30pm on 14/01/2025 and lodged in the company of his mistress identified as Maryam Abba who visited from Dutse, Jigawa State.
Maryam disclosed that she came in contact with the deceased on social media Aboit three months ago.
She said she was in Abuja on the invitation of the deceased.
According to her, when they got to the hotel they had sex and slept off afterwards.
Early in the morning at about 6am, she said the Inspector woke her up and they had another round of sex.
She, however, discovered that his breathing became erratic and that he stopped moving.
She sprinkled water on him but still he didn’t move, and she raised the alarm which attracted the hotel management.
Recovered from the scene are water melons, drugs suspected to be aphrodisiac.
The Inspector was reportedly rushed to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
The body of the deceased was deposited at the mortuary of the hospital while Maryam is currently being detained by the police.
