The Nigerian High Commissioner to the Republic of Zambia, His Excellency, Amb. Nwannebuike Ominyi has commiserated with the entire Izzi nation over the attack of indigens in Benue and Ebonyi by suspected herders yesterday
The attack left over 40 dead and thousands injured and hospitalized.
Ambassador Ominyi who described as unfortunate, the death of innocent citizens including children and pregnant women called on security agents to go into full scale investigation with the aim of fishing out the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
Ambassador Ominyi who condemned the act, described it as the highest form of criminality which must not go unpunished according to the law.
He urged the deceased familirs to remain calm as the security agencies swing into action.
“We will make our little contribution to see that those receiving treatment at the hospital were assisted”. He stated.
