The Amagu Development Union has warned those making Defamatory Comments and inciting the people against, the Member Representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Chinedu Ogah to desist from such act describing it as false, mischievous, politically motivated and attempt to undermine the laudable achievements of the National Assembly Member.
The Union maintained that the allegations against Hon Ogah are the handiwork of his political detractors adding that it is the last kick of a dying horse and effort in futility.
The National President of the Union, Comrade Iganga Augustine, said that Hon. Ogah’s leadership qualities and service to the people has remained outstanding adding that his record of service and integrity is unblemished.
Comrade Augustine said, “those behind the falsehoods must forthwith desist from such inglorious act and must seek genuine reconciliation with the ancestors and the youths of the community.
He noted that a young man, who left Item Amagu over fifteen years ago is being sponsored by political opponents of the Lawmaker to spread false information about the him on the social media adding that those who are behind the act are afraid of the rising profile and political sagacity of Hon Ogah.
The Union President called on the individual to publicly apologize to Hon. Ogah, warning that failure to do so could attract the wrath of the gods and ancestors.
Reaffirming the Union’s unwavering support for the lawmaker, Augustine emphasized that the lawmaker’s numerous contributions to the development of Ikwo/Ezza-South are visible and verifiable.
He and other members of the Union expressed admiration for Hon. Ogah’s leadership style, noting that he has empowered countless individuals across the constituency through various initiatives, including the distribution of motorcycles and other empowerment tools.
The Union Leaders further described Hon Ogah as a man of quality leadership and impeccable character. Hon. Ogah has consistently promoted unity, inclusion, and harmony in Amagu Ikwo. He has also ensured that development efforts that will benefit everyone was achieved rather than a select few. Ends.
