Good morning Your Excellency. Today we have two letters from your people, one a proposal and another an appeal from the family of a deceased retiree.

The retirees family writes from Ogbaku in Awgu Local Government Area.
He writes: Please I am appealing to His Excellency the Governor of Enugu state to look into the pension and gratuity of retired primary school teachers in the state.

My father retired in January 2013 and died in March, since then it’s been like that. I have done everything in the past administrations all to no avail.
Please your Excellency sir, we are pleading with you sir to remember us.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Mathew Anselem okeke (+234 802 868 9837)

This is a special case, the retired teacher died two months after retirement.
However, Everydnewsngr.net is aware of the ongoing process by the Governor Peter Mbah administration to clear the backlog of pension and gratuity. This was addressed in the governor’s broadcast to mark his first 100 days in office.
The problem here is that the teacher is not there to push his case.
May it please His Excellency.

SECOND LETTER TO HIS EXCELLENCY

Dear Governor Barr. Peter Mbah,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the remarkable reforms you have implemented in our great state. Your new policy on agriculture has brought about significant positive changes, and I commend your efforts in providing water to Ndi Enugu.

I would like to emphasize the importance of creating job opportunities in all local government areas and providing essential social amenities. By doing so, we can empower the youth and address the issue of insecurity while also decongesting Enugu City. These initiatives will not only contribute to the well-being of our citizens but also foster a sense of community and unity.

In line with empowering the youth, I propose the implementation of a skill development program called “Youth Entrepreneur System”(YES) This program will serve as a platform for the youth in each local government to acquire creative skills that will enable them to contribute to the economic growth and overall development of Enugu. By equipping our youth with the necessary tools and knowledge, we can harness their potential and nurture a generation of entrepreneurs.

Furthermore, I strongly urge you to consider making Enugu state an ICT hub and investing in human capital development. By establishing Enugu as a center for information and communication technology, we can attract technology-driven businesses and foster innovation. Additionally, investing in the development of our human capital through education and skill-building programs will enhance the capabilities of our citizens and drive sustainable growth in Enugu State.

In conclusion, Governor Barr. Peter Mbah, your dedication to the progress of our state is truly commendable. I am grateful for the positive reforms you have implemented, particularly in agriculture and providing water to Ndi Enugu. I urge you to continue creating job opportunities, providing social amenities, and promoting youth empowerment to address insecurity.

Additionally, establishing Enugu as an ICT hub and investing in human capital development will undoubtedly transform the face of Enugu State and secure a prosperous future for all its inhabitants.

Thank you for your exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the betterment of our state.

Yours sincerely,

Comr Collins Ude
