Tajikistan has announced a significant expansion in its visa-free travel policy, opening its doors to citizens from 25 countries.
In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan revealed the list of nations eligible for the unilateral visa-free regime, effective May 1, 2024. The newly introduced countries on the list include diverse nations spanning the globe, VisaGuide.World reports.
In line with the new rules, travelers from Andorra, Bahamas, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Ireland, Malta, Marshall Islands, Mexico, Mongolia, Montenegro, Oman, Romania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Vatican, and the State of Palestine will now enjoy visa-free access to Tajikistan for up to 30 days.

Albania

It is important to note that citizens from the listed countries entering the Republic of Tajikistan for periods longer than 14 or 30 days for purposes such as work, study, permanent residency, or other non-touristic reasons must obtain the appropriate visa in advance.
As a result, travelers from the Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Sudan, Madagascar, Palestine, Haiti, Uganda, and Syria (for diplomatic, service, and business visas) now face fewer obstacles when applying for visas.
Moreover, citizens of Iraq, Nigeria, Ethiopia, the Republic of Rwanda, and Congo (for diplomatic, service, and business visas) also benefit from this simplified process.
