NANS cries out over banditory, kidnapping along Benin-Auchi road

The leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has called on federal and state governments to intensify efforts against banditory and kidnapping along Benin-Auchi road.

The studens made the plea through the Vice President (Special Duties) lComrade Odiahi Thomas Ikhine during the state convention and inauguration of the body’s executives in Edo State.

Ikhine who regretted that the road had become a death trap also called on administrators of tertiary institutions in the state to prioritize the mental health of students while drawing up its academic calendars

“We call on the federal and state government and by extension all security agencies to please intensify their efforts in who the fight against banditry and kidnapping mostly along the Benin-Auchi Expressway that has become a death trap

“NANS also calls on all School Administrators to prioritize at all times the welfare and mental well being of Nigerian Students in all her various campuses while assuring them of full cooperation in the above regard as the apex students body in Nigeria.”
