Senator representing Enugu East Senatorial District, Kelvin Chukwu, has sent congratulatory to former Enugu State Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development, Professor Nnam, on his investiture as a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS).
In a letter made available to newsmen Saturday, Senator Chukwu described the honour as a well-deserved recognition of Prof. Nnam’s years of dedication, professional excellence, and service to the surveying profession.
“I hereby felicitate with you on the occasion of your investiture and elevation to the very prestigious rank of Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors,” the Senator said.
According to him, the recognition did not come by chance but was the result of “hard work, dedication and meritorious service to your professional institution over the years.”
While praising Prof. Nnam for attaining “the zenith of your professional career,” Chukwu expressed hope that the elevation would inspire even greater contributions to national development.
“It is my prayer that God Almighty grant you the wisdom and strength to continue to promote the objectives of your great institution in service to our dear nation,” he added.
Senator Chukwu also noted that the people of Enugu East are proud of Prof. Nnam’s achievements.
“I and the great people of Enugu East Senatorial District are very proud of you. I wish you a joyous occasion as you celebrate with family, peers and well-wishers,” he said.
The investiture ceremony has been fixed for Tuesday, 6th May, 2025.
The elevation of Prof. Nnam to the rank of Fellow marks a significant milestone in a distinguished career dedicated to advancing land administration and the surveying profession in Nigeria.
Nnam is a professor of geoinformatics and surveying.
