Man Stabs Bishop to Death For Allegedly Sleeping With Wife

Dr Sina Olaribigbe, the Presiding Bishop of Rapture Empowerment International, has been stabbed to death amid suspicions of an affair with a married woman.

According to a report by Nation, the incident occurred on Thursday in the BCGA area, behind the Olorunda Local Government Secretariat in Osogbo, Osun State.

Sources reveal that the couple had been experiencing unresolved conflicts, resulting in their decision to live apart. Despite this, Bishop Olaribigbe was known to mediate conflicts between them, striving for reconciliation.

On the day of the incident, it was reported that the Bishop was found in bed with the woman, which led to the enraged husband attacking him.

When approached for comment, Yemisi Opalola, the Public Relations Officer for the Osun State Police Command, confirmed the details. She stated, “Olaribigbe often intervened in disputes between the couple. We were informed that the pastor was at the wife’s residence when the estranged husband arrived.

“He stabbed the pastor multiple times while he was on the wife’s bed, which resulted in his death. The husband acted out of suspicion that the pastor was having an affair with his wife.”
