A French band delighted attendees at a state dinner in Paris on Thursday by performing P-Square’s hit song “Testimony (Taste the Money)” in honour of President Bola Tinubu.
The dinner, hosted at the Palais de l’Élysée during Tinubu’s three-day state visit to France to foster closer diplomatic and economic relations between the two nations.
In a now-viral video, the band delivered a vibrant rendition of the Afrobeat classic, seamlessly blending Nigerian rhythms with a French flair.
The performance earned applause from the audience, including Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who appeared thrilled by the cultural gesture.
In addition to P-Square’s hit, the band also performed “Mama Africa” by Bracket, further celebrating Nigerian music on an international stage.
Adding to the evening’s charm, Nigerian-French singer Asa delivered a captivating performance, further showcasing Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage
