Ahead of the 2025 gubernatorial election in Anambra state, the Anambra Patriots For Soludo APS has commenced mobilization programs in the 179 Communities showcasing the administrative mileage of Gov Charles Soludo.
This is coming as the body unveiled it’s joint partnership with the Traditional Rulers,President Generals , women leaders and the non Indigene community in the area.
The body noted that the mobilization is as a result of the fact that the teaming voters at the rural areas do not have steady access to the internet hence providing a variable platform for them to be properly informed about the land mark achievements of the governor.
According to the Chairman of the Patriots Chief Ejiamatu Enekwechi who spoke at the unavailing of the Anambra Patriots For Soludo in Awka Capital;
“In view of the need to creat awareness of the good works of Gov Charles Soludo at the rural areas who are the voters and cannot afford the access to the social media it has become instructive that we as a body carry the campaign to the villages”
“It is a known fact that the first tenure of Gov Charles Soludo has witnessed gargantuan growth in the provision of basic infrastructures and it is also an undistorted fact that all sectors of governance under the watch of Gov Charles Soludo have felt the impact of good governance so far”
“We the Anambra Patriots For Soludo made up of stakeholders, Community leaders have resolved to support the governor in order for him to continue with the massive infrastructural development of our state and we urge all and sundry to take a clue to that ” he said.
Speaking at the occasion the Traditional Ruler of Umuleri Community Igwe Bennett Emeka noted that there is no room to continue to ask questions about the workings of the Anambra state government under Gov Charles Soludo but to lend him support to continue to make Anambra state a livable secured smart city homeland .
The Convener Arch Okey Ezenobi recalled how the body was conceived as a template towards ensuring that the Anambra state continues to enjoy the dividends of good governance under the leadership of Soludo adding that the Anambra Patriots For Soludo is poised towards being the platform for the return of the governor for the next four years in office.
Also speaking the President General of Anambra State Association Of Town Union ASATU Bar Titus Akpudo explained that the town unions are bridge between government and the masses at the village level hence are major recipients of the developmental stride of the governor.
“What you have here are the President Generals and Women leaders of the communities in Anambra state and whatever that the governor is doing is impacting positively on our kit and kin at the rural areas and the facts speak for itself”
Also speaking the Association of Non Indigenes In Anambra State ANIAS led by it’s National President Prince Chigozie Nweke noted that ;
“The Association of Non Indigenes In Anambra State wish to felicitate with the Anambra Patriots For Soludo for this bold step because we associate ourselves with the monumental socioeconomic development of Anambra state under the stewardship of Gov Charles Soludo”
“We the members are over twenty thousand in number who are registered with the the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC and we join hands to commend the regime of Gov Charles Soludo and urge him to continue in that stride” he said.
Highlights of the occasion were speeches on the achievements of the government presented by the trio of Commissioner for works Engr Ifeanyi Okeoma, Commissioner for Health Dr Afam Obidike the Commissioner for power and water resources Mr Julius Chukwuemeka Commissioner for Budget and Planning Mrs Chiamaka Nnake and leader of the Women Wing of ASATU Mrs Ify Okaro .
