A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Peter Edeh, together with thousands of his supporters have re-joined the APC from the People’s Democratic Party PDP.
At the meeting of Ezekoma Development Center stakeholders yesterday, he led the several personalities to defect from their various parties to the APC: They include
1. Hon. Prince Emma Nome (former Chairman, Ishielu East DC)
2. Hon. Peter A. Nwali (pioneer State Organising Secretary of APC, and House of Assembly candidate of Labour Party in the last General Election)
3. Hon. Solomon Nwafor (former Caretaker Chairman, Ishielu LGA)
4. Hon. Chidi Oji (former Vice Chairman, Ishielu LGA)
5. Hon. Sunday Igwewa (former Coordinator, Ezekoma DC and PDP Organising Secretary, Ishielu LGA)
6. Barr. (Hon.) Kenneth Onyirah (former Coordinator, Ezekoma DC)
7. Hon. Harrison Uchechukwu Ali (former Coordinator, Ezekoma DC)
8. Engr. Solomon Ukpai Ogbonna ( former Special Adviser to State PDP Chairman)
9. Princess Rita Nworie (former APGA Governorship Campaign Coordinator, Ishielu LGA)
10. Mr. Emmanuel Chukwu (former APGA Chieftain and Supervisory Councillor)
11. Rtd. Staff-Sergeant Jacob Nworie (formerly of the Nigerian Army)
12. Ekene Onwoshi (Lecturer, FUNAI)
Several former councillors and Supervisory Council members also joined Hon Edeh to defect to the APC.
The occasion was witnessed by the Commissioner for Budgeting, Mrs Chinwe Okah, the Chairman of the State Elders Council, Engr Chief Ben Okah, Rev. Fr. Dr. Abraham Nwali, the Ezekoma DC Coordinator (Hon. Mrs Chinasa Nwankwo), etc.
Speaking at the occasion, Honourable Edeh explained that his decision was in appreciation of the humane and people-oriented disposition of the Ebonyi State Governor, His Excellency, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. He pledged his unwavering support for the Governor’s administration and commitment to the success of the APC in the entire state.
