Speaker Enugu House of Assembly Rt. Hon Edward Ubosi has raised the alarm over the fraudulent use of a fake Facebook account opened in his name.
The soft spoken lawmaker in an exclusive chat with Everydaynewsngr.net said that a fraudster has been using a Facebook account in his name to dupe people.
The speaker made it clear that he doesn’t have a Facebook account stressing that the one he had was shutdown over five years ago.
“I don’t have a Facebook account. I don’t have any social media account, all I make use of is Whatsapp. I therefore urge the public to disregard any information or message emanating from any Facebook account in my name.”
The speaker who described the development as embarrassing said he decided to raise the alarm to save the public from scammers.
