Former National Auditor of the PDP, Barr. Ray Nnaji has disclosed that he personally wrote a petition to the National Chairman of the PDP against former Governor and Senator, Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani.

In an exclusive chat with EverydayNews Ray Nnaji a former Chairman of Nkanu West LGA condemned the anti party by Senator Nnamani who is visibly supporting APC Presidential candidate Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

Hear him:
I was the one that wrote petition to the party, but I don’t know whether it was my petition they acted on or not.

I wrote to the National Chairman against Chimaroke.

I discussed it with him when his name came out as member of APC Presidential Campaign Council. I called him that he had to refute it as a serving PDP Senator, but he said no.

I continued seeing his campaign for Tinubu. The day I discussed with him I was telling him about a media report where he eulogized Tinubu and at the end he gave Atiku one line.

If I were him I would have resigned and joined him in APC and forget about the Senate.

Because the former governor does not like the Senate, but he continues to be there. He wants a situation where he will be marshalling out orders; executive power, that’s what he wants.

He believes that if Tinubu becomes President he will make him a Minister or appoint him to a principal office.

Because APC cannot make the same mistake they made in the Senate with Saraki and Ekweremadu.

He didn’t realize that there is no way, no matter what, even if he becomes the spokesperson of APC while in PDP. There is no way they are going to give him anything if he joins APC.

Now the party has suspended him. I heard he was saying he would go to court should the party go ahead to do anything. I’m waiting for him to go to court, I will apply for joinder.

Because he cannot come and destroy this party. If you don’t like Atiku, you cannot hate the party. Because the party has made you whatever you are.

You were a sitting governor for eight years under the party; at the end of the day you are still a Senator under the party. Two time Senator; still with the ticket of the party. What kind of example are you showing? It’s not good. You are an elder statesman people should look up to.

That’s why I wrote a petition to the party and I told the party that if nothing is done, I will go to Court to sanitize the system. I have even started preparing my suit against the party and Chimaroke

I called and they told me they are waiting for certain things to set up a disciplinary committee.

I am asking them, when are you setting up the disciplinary committee to invite me; I am waiting. Because the constitution say you cannot ignore a petition written by anybody.

The petition is meant to bring him to order. Secondly, if he doesn’t retrace his steps he will lose his seat. Because if he loses membership of the party he has no more platform upon which he is going for election.

Even if he has gone for the election he will lose his seat.

Chimaroke called me and said that someone told him I want to write petition against him. I said, not that I want to write; I have written and I have sent.

He said, what did he do, I said you are committing anti party activity against the party that has made you.

I reminded him that Senator Abu in Adamawa North, lost his Senatorial ticket because of this kind of situation. He told me that he is not Senator Abu.

So, by and large, he must be very careful, even if he wins the election he might lose it in court. Because if the party disciplines him, his opponent will go to court and collect the ticket.

It’s even worse if he joins another party. That’s a constitutional matter; he loses his seat.

Details of the explosive interview later..
