Fact has emerged on why amongst all the 36 States Governors in Nigeria, the Executive Governor of Enugu State His Excellency Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi was nominated as the Special Guest of Honour to THE NATIONAL DEBATE’22.
In a telephone chat the Convener of THE NATIONAL DEBATE’22 Monday Diamond Ani said that Governor Ugwuanyi is the Special Guest of Honour for THE NATIONAL DEBATE’22.
He said that after several meetings of the Central Organizing Committee drawn from the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria, His Excellency Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi was nominated as The SPECIAL GUEST of HONOUR based on his popularity amongst the Nigerian Students.
According to Monday Diamond, we conducted public opinion amongst the Students Union Government Presidents of Higher Institutions in Nigeria, as well as the Debating Students who will represent the various tertiary institutions, it was gathered that Gov Ugwuanyi was seen as a very likeable person based on his antecedents as the progenitor of Students and Youths in his administration.
This is seen on his numerous scholarship programs,keen interest in Education and Youth Empowerment since the inception of his Government.
Based on these findings of his leadership traits,the COC of TND’22 unanimously nominated Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as the Special Guest of Honour to THE NATIONAL DEBATE’22.
