The was shooting in Enugu Saturday morning as unknown gunmen operating in a Sienna bus stormed the popular Ogui Road within the Enugu Capital City and robbed a popular phone shop, One Stand
An inside source told EverydayNews that the Ak-47 wielding robbers clad in all black attire, arrived the shop at about 11am.
They reportedly had a field day in the ever busy Ogui Road without any interference.
The masked gunmen reportedly parked their Sienna in front of the shop, entered in commando style, surrendered the shop attendants and robbed phones and cash worth about N50 million.
When they were done, they left the shop with three Ghana-must-go bags filled with expensive handsets. The continued shooting in the air as they made good their escape.
Numbering four including the driver, one of the hoolums had earlier pretended to be buying phone from the shop before he was joined by the other two. They were all said to have worn masks.
The shop owner, a young man who is still struggling to stand on his feet lamented that the shop was opened just recently stressing that the attack has left him stranded.
