The presidential campaign organisation Engr. Dave Umahi has debunked reports that the Ebonyi Governor has stepped down for the president of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan.
The campaign organization said there’s nothing like that as the Governor only hosted the president of the Senate at his Abuja residence but never stepped down from the race.
Umahi while hosting Lawan was rather quoted as promising to support him (Lawan) if he emerges as the candidate of the party.
It described the report as the hand work of mischief makers and urged his supporters to desregard the story.
