As apart of this year’s celebration of International Students Day, the Enugu State Students Community Wednesday joined the campaign against Mkpurumiri and other hard drugs.
The Students Community took the campaign through major roads and streets of the Enugu Capital City.
They displayed banners and placards urging youths to abstain from drug abuse especially mpkurummiri (Meth) that has continued to destroy the youths.
The March organized by the SA on Students Affairs to the Enugu Governor, Hon. Ilogebe Chidi, was aimed at lending a voice against the menace caused by the abuse of hard drugs amongst young persons.
The road walk started from Okpara Square through Enugu metropolis and ended at Institute of Management and Technology, IMT where a sensitization programme was held.
