The traditional ruler elect of Ugwunagbo-Ugwu proposed autonomous Community of Edem-Ani accident kingdom in Nsukka local government area, Enugu State High Chief Jude Eze (aka Oban” Eku Oshimiri) has applauded Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on peace and security network across the three senatorial zones of the state.
High Chief Eze disclosed this in an interview with journalists shortly after the just concluded voter registration exercise in Eden Ani.
He noted that Enugu State has the most peaceful and the most bonded security network at all strategic communities in the state.
The traditional ruler elect said the governor has never been distracted on government programme for the development of communities in roads network, infrastructure/human capital development, agriculture, education, prompt payment of workers/ pensioners salaries among others.
“Gburugburu’s governance of Enugu state would remain the best gift since the creation of the state.
Count how many autonomous communities he created and mobilized each with five million naira to embark on any project of the choice of the community in other to bring governance nearer to the people”
High Chief Eze expressed gratitude over the peaceful conduct of the just concluded voter registration exercise and urged all the stakeholders in Enugu state to embark on enlightenment campaigns and key into government policies anchored on peace, unity, fairness, equity, transparency and honestly which has been the key words of governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi since 2015 he took the mantle of leadership of the state.
Ugwuanyi has clearly changed the typeface and narratives of the state to an enviable height for other states in the federation.
Extolling the virtues of the state governor, he said ” all the rural roads across the three senatorial zones of the state have been tarred, public schools rehabilitated, initiated and equipped Forest guards for security of lives and property and created Gburugburu free skill acquisition micro finance bank. The people of Enugu state are at home and would be at home with the governor of the state till it definitely ends in praise” he said.
The monarch elect who was recently conferred an award of “excellence for community development” by the department archeology and tourism of the university of Nigeria, Nsukka noted that history would continue to bear eloquent testimony of peace and security of the state in the hands of Ugwuanyi.
The Royal majesty elect of Ugwunagbo-Ugwu advised politicians in the state not to see politics in the state as a do or die affair, saying that the state is bonded by one blood and love for the interest of one common goal of development based fairness and equity.
