One of the leading aspirants in the forthcoming Anambra Governoship electiion Chief Ben Etiaba has dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Etiaba’s departure is part of the fall out of the controversial Party nomination; a process that has been faulted by several stakeholders in the state.
Etiaba who resigned from APC yesterday, Wednesday August 4, 2021 is to address a press conference in Abuja Saturday where he is expected to unveil his new Political party.
He is also expected to present his running mate to the world at the National Headquarters of the new party.
Etiaba in a statement noted that his Governoship campaign will formerly commence on August 8, 2021 with a planned flag-off rally in Awka in two weeks time.
“Having resigned my membership of the All Progressives Congress I do wish APC well, just as I acknowledge and than the party for availing me the opportunity to ventilate my political aspiration on their platform,” he said.
