Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BOT) members have praised Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s contributions to the party in the South East.
The BOT members led by the Chairman, Senator Walid Jibrin, met at the Government House, Enugu Wednesday expressing confidence that with Ugwuanyi as the leader of the party in the South East the fortunes of the party is bound to improve ahead of the 2023 elections.
EverydayNews reliably gathered that the closed-door meeting with the governor of Enugu State and leader of the PDP in the South East, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, was on the future of the party in the zone.
A confident Ugwuanyi was said to have reassured the visiting BOT members that the party is in safe hands and will continue to lead in the South East.
The BOT members were on official engagement, aimed at further strengthening the Party nationally, for the challenges ahead.
