Ondo State governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has nominated a former Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly (DCNA), Chief Olayide Owolabi Adelami, as the deputy governor of the state.
Aiyedatiwa ordered all commissioners and special advisers to immediately hand over to the most senior civil servants in their respective ministries.
The Ondo governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, said Aiyedatiwa appreciated the executive members for their contribution to the state.
According to the release, “All members of the Cabinet are to immediately hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.
“Also, all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) are relieved of their duties, with immediate effect. All the affected officials are directed to hand over all government properties in their possession.
“The Governor thanks the affected officials for their services and contributions to the development of the State.”
