Senator Obinna Ogba representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone, has emerged the Ebonyi Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governoship Candidate for the 2023 guber election.
Ogba polled 253 votes to defeat his closest rival, Anayo Nwonu who scored 110 votes.
Ogba a former State Chairman of the party in the state was elected in a primary election held Sunday night in Abakaliki.
The election was sequel to the decision of the Appeal Court which settled the leadership crisis of the party in the state.
